Type specimen: RTMP.86.61.1, a partial skeleton (Almost complete skull with mandibles (lacking articulars and coronoids), partial postcranium and osteoderms). Its type locality is Quarry L1524 (RTMP), which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation of Canada.

Ecology: planktonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Quarry L1524 (RTMP)
