Type specimen: PVL 4735, a partial skull (Skull and jaw partially complete). Its type locality is Estancia El Brete (Paleocene), which is in a Paleocene floodplain sandstone/siltstone in the Maiz Gordo Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at Estancia El Brete (Paleocene)
