Type specimen: MLP 29014, a hindwing (hindwing with the extreme apex and base missing). Its type locality is La Mendieta, which is in a Paleocene lacustrine - small shale/bindstone in the Maíz Gordo Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at La Mendieta
