Sister taxa: Alexenia alta, Alexenia gratiodentalis, Alexenia mucronata, Alexenia occidentalis, Alexenia protexta
Type specimen: USNM 125328. Its type locality is L8, 1 mile north of Tucker Butte, Grindstone-Twelvemile Creek area, which is in a Kungurian marine limestone/sandstone in the Coyote Butte Formation of Oregon.
Ecology: stationary low-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
