Type specimen: CPP 1235, a partial skull (posterior skull and partial rostrum). Its type locality is Fazenda TrĂªs Antas (upper levels), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian alluvial fan sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.
