Sister taxa: Ascoporella borealis, Ascoporella mera
Type specimen: VNIGRI 23/916. Its type locality is Sula River, Artinskian, Northern Timan Mountains, which is in an Artinskian marine horizon in the Nerminskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology: stationary epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Sula River, Artinskian, Northern Timan Mountains
