Type specimen: USNM 14490, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is USGS 3748-CO, northeast of Gold Point, which is in a Dyeran carbonate sandstone/limestone in the Harkless Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at USGS 3748-CO, northeast of Gold Point
