Type specimen: BP/2/2540-1, an exoskeleton (complete adult). Its type locality is Orapa (Bernard Price Institute), which is in a Turonian lacustrine - large mudstone in Botswana.

Distribution: found only at Orapa (Bernard Price Institute)
