Sister taxa: Halictus petrefactus, Halictus ruissatelensis, Halictus schemppi

Type specimen: Q-0424a&b, an exoskeleton (complete body with fragmentary wings). Its type locality is Quilchena (SFU collection), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Tranquille Formation of Canada.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Quilchena (SFU collection)
