Sister taxa: Protopanorpa elongata, Protopanorpa longicubitalis, Protopanorpa media, Protopanorpa permiana, Protopanorpa similis, Protopanorpoides minutus

Type specimen: PIN 1700/2269, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Chekarda, Sylva River (PIN collection 1700), which is in a Kungurian deltaic siliciclastic in the Koshelevka Formation of the Russian Federation.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Tyulkino, PIN collection 3474, Kama River
