Type specimen: MHNH 9036, a partial skeleton (A partial skeleton comprising a nearly complete skull and lower jaw, and various postcranial elements). Its type locality is La Boëce, which is in a Cenomanian platform/shelf-margin reef chalk in France.

Distribution: found only at La Boëce
