Type specimen: CNRS-SUNY 190, a skull (Nearly complete skull). Its type locality is Asler village, which is in a Maastrichtian/Danian shallow subtidal limestone in Mali.

Ecology: planktonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Asler village
