Type specimens:

  • Paleuthygramma acuta: MCZ 4587, a forewing. Its type locality is Elmo, MCZ 1935 collection Lower Limestone, which is in an Artinskian pond limestone in the Wellington Formation of Kansas.
  • Apsidoneura reducta: Univ Wichita 1153, a hindwing. Its type locality is Tasch Nobel V, Bed 7, which is in an Artinskian lacustrine limestone in the Wellington Formation of Oklahoma.
