Type specimen: PIN 2066/2066, an exoskeleton (incompletely preserved male). Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2066), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
