Sister taxa: Protonemestrius beipiaoensis, Protonemestrius bequaerti, Protonemestrius handlirschi, Protonemestrius jurassicus, Protonemestrius magnus, Protonemestrius martynovi, Protonemestrius rasnitsyni

Type specimen: PIN 2784/73, an exoskeleton (well preserved female). Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784)
