Type specimen: BMNH In 59385, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Flatstones, Black Ven, Charmouth (Jackson collection), which is in an Obtusum marine mudstone in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Flatstones, Black Ven, Charmouth (Jackson collection)
