Type specimen: BMNH In 64008, an exoskeleton (disarticulated body). Its type locality is Flatstones, Black Ven, Charmouth (Jackson collection), which is in an Obtusum marine mudstone in the Charmouth Mudstone Formation of the United Kingdom.
