Type specimen: USNM 66564, a tegmen. Its type locality is White River (Scudder collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large shale in the Green River Formation of Utah.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at USGS 17-3; Smith's Ranch, in the vicinity of Cathedral Bluffs
