Type specimen: MLP 12887, a wing (apex only). Its type locality is Bajo Grande, NF I Araucarites, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small shale/mudstone in the Anfiteatro de Ticó Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Bajo Grande, NF I Araucarites
