Type specimen: BMNH In 59573, an exoskeleton (ventral view of whole beetle). Its type locality is Burnera Water Fall, upper Umkomaas, which is in a Carnian wet floodplain siliciclastic in the Molteno Formation of South Africa.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Burnera Water Fall, upper Umkomaas
