Type specimens:

  • Triassologus biseriatus: C-Dt II 764, a wing (apical half of wing). Its type locality is Bird's River (C-Dt II), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - small shale in the Molteno Formation of South Africa.
  • Reisia rieki: PRE/F/17569, a wing. Its type locality is Kap 111, Kapokkraal, which is in a Carnian wet floodplain horizon in the Molteno Formation of South Africa.
