Sister taxon: Eichstaettisaurus schroederi
Type specimen: MPN 19457, a partial skeleton (A partial skeleton preserved in ventral view). Its type locality is La Cavere, Pietraroja, which is in an Albian basinal (carbonate) mudstone/wackestone in Italy.
Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

• Cretaceous of Italy (2 collections)
