Type specimen: MGUAN−PA 002, a partial skeleton (a nearly complete skull, an ungual phalanx, two cervical vertebrae, proximal part of the ilium, shell parts, and a few uninformative fragments). Its type locality is Iembe, Tadi, which is in a Coniacian coastal horizon in the Itombe Formation of Angola.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution: found only at Iembe, Tadi
