Type specimen: no number listed, an osteoderm (30 osteoderms palate fragment with M6-7 alveoli). Its type locality is Road to Tio Gregorio Locality, which is in a Messinian/Zanclean fluvial-deltaic sandstone in the Codore Formation of Venezuela.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore

Distribution: found only at Road to Tio Gregorio Locality
