Type specimen: USNM 536210. Its type locality is S-2089, Conglomerate Mesa, which is in an Artinskian marine limestone in the Santa Rosa Flat Formation of California.
Ecology: stationary semi-infaunal omnivore
Distribution: found only at S-2089, Conglomerate Mesa
