Type specimen: USNM 934944. Its type locality is CS-8, Conglomerate Mesa, which is in an Artinskian marine limestone in the Santa Rosa Flat Formation of California.

Ecology: stationary semi-infaunal omnivore

Distribution: found only at CS-8, Conglomerate Mesa
