Sister taxa: Dentoceras belemnitiforme, Dentoceras latum, Dentoceras magnum
Type specimen: PIN 442/12179. Its type locality is Ultugan-Say Gully, Sterlitamakian, Aktasty River, which is in a Sakmarian marine sandstone in Kazakhstan.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Permian of Kazakhstan (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
