Type specimen: AMNH 27963, an other (corallum). Its type locality is Lewiston locality, which is in a Sevatian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Martin Bridge Formation of Idaho.

Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal photosymbiotic-suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Lewiston locality
