Type specimen: PIN 2997/4431, a forewing (nearly complete forewing). Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2997), which is in a Kimmeridgian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2997)
