Diagnosis. Small, slender Consobrinella species; whorls slightly convex; axial ribs not reduced during ontogeny.

Type specimen: MG 1445. Its type locality is Thorncombe Sands, Dorset, which is in a Margaritatus marine horizon in the Beacon Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at Thorncombe Sands, Dorset
