Type specimen: UALVP 29789, a mandible (incomplete right dentary with six teeth and the broken bases/vacant alveoli for 16 others). Its type locality is Verdigris Coulee (UA-MR-6), which is in a Santonian terrestrial sandstone/shale in the Milk River Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore

Distribution: found only at Verdigris Coulee (UA-MR-6)
