Type specimen: ANSP 18664, a mandible (partial left dentary with five teeh/spaces, and broken bases of six others). Its type locality is Blackbird Ridge Quarry (BBR), which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Judith River Formation of Montana.

Ecology: carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Blackbird Ridge Quarry (BBR)
