Sister taxa: Coleoscyta kamensis, Coleoscyta martynovi, Coleoscyta occallata, Coleoscyta rotundata, Coleoscyta venosa, Coleoscytodes elytrata, Coleoscytodes venosa
Type specimen: PIN 2334/85, a tegmen. Its type locality is Soyana (PIN collection 2334), which is in a Roadian lagoonal sandstone in the Sheimo-Gora Beds Formation of the Russian Federation.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Sheimo-Gora (PIN collection 117)
