Type specimen: AKH 524 a, a wing (with preserved apical third and parts of basal third). Its type locality is Küchenberg quarry, which is in a Marsdenian/Yeadonian mire/swamp mudstone in the Ziegelschiefer Formation of Germany.

Distribution: found only at Küchenberg quarry
