Type specimen: MCSNT (Museo Civico di Storia Naturale Trieste), a set of postcrania (nearly complete skeleton lacking the skull). Its type locality is Komen (cave), which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine limestone in Slovenia.

Distribution: found only at Komen (cave)
