Type specimen: PIN 2708/1, a hindwing (perfect hindwing). Its type locality is Verkhne-bureinskaya Depression, core sample 22-23, Bed 8, depth 151.9-162.5m, which is in an Albian terrestrial horizon in the Kyndal Formation of the Russian Federation.
