Type specimen: BMB 018537, a forewing (median fragment). Its type locality is Auclaye Brickworks (BMB collection), which is in a Barremian lagoonal claystone in the Weald Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Auclaye Brickworks (BMB collection)
