Type specimen: SAM-K-359, a mandible. Its type locality is 5 km southeast of Likhoele, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial horizon in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore
Distribution: found only at 5 km southeast of Likhoele
