Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: ZPAL MgM-I/81, a partial skeleton (almost complete skull, crushed dorsoventrally with mandibles and partial postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Khermeen Tsav II, Middle Red Beds [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian terrestrial sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
