Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: ZPAL MgM-I/39, a skull (skull with mandible and well-preserved teeth, lacking zygomatic arch and basicranium). Its type locality is Khulsan (general) [PMPE], which is in a Campanian/Campanian eolian sandstone/sandstone in the Baruungoyot Formation of Mongolia.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore
