Sister taxa: Neoschisma cornutum, Neoschisma timorense, Neoschisma verrucosum
Type specimen: QMF21494, an other (hypodeltoid plate). Its type locality is QML760, Callytharra-Byro track, which is in a Sakmarian marine horizon in the Callytharra Formation of Australia.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution:
• Permian of Australia (5 collections)
Total: 5 collections each including a single occurrence
