Type specimen: PIN 1874/30, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Iya Locality (PIN collection 1874), which is in a Toarcian lacustrine - small horizon in the Cheremkhovskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.

Distribution: found only at Iya Locality (PIN collection 1874)
