Type specimen: MNHN B 47290, a wing (complete wing). Its type locality is Armissan quarry, near Narbonne (MNHN collection), which is in an Oligocene pond limestone in France.

Distribution: found only at Armissan quarry, near Narbonne (MNHN collection)
