Sister taxon: Miomancalla wetmorei
Type specimen: SDSNH 68312, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is San Clemente, which is in a Messinian offshore siltstone in the Capistrano Formation of California.

Distribution:

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
