Type specimen: SHM-CP 363, a mandible (fragment of right mandible). Its type locality is Cha Prong Pit, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone/lignite in Thailand.
Ecology: arboreal folivore
Distribution: found only at Cha Prong Pit
