Type specimen: UMMP 11663, a partial skeleton (posterior half of body). Its type locality is Near Dundee, which is in an Artinskian/Kungurian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in Texas.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Near Dundee
