Type specimen: 81(136), an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Petrified fish cut (Richardson Coll), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution: found only at Petrified fish cut (Richardson Coll)
