Type specimen: MN 4114−V, a limb element (Left coracoid). Its type locality is São José de Itaborai, which is in an Eocene fissure fill marl in the Itaboraí Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution: found only at São José de Itaborai
