Type specimen: Lee 144, an exoskeleton (crumpled specimen). Its type locality is Green River (Lee Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.

Distribution: found only at Green River (Lee Collection)
