Type specimen: GSC 62, an elytra (pair of elytra). Its type locality is Whipsaw Creek (Nine Mile Creek), which is in a Ypresian lacustrine mudstone in the Allenby Formation of Canada.

Distribution: found only at Whipsaw Creek (Nine Mile Creek)
